Our 2022 Indigenous range has been designed by artists Luther Cora (Yugambeh) and Trent Lee (Larrakia) and our supporter wear features some of the key elements of the guernsey design.
Key features of the design are detailed below.
- The background pattern depicts the waterway, rivers, ocean and skies, which connects both the Crocodile and Eagle.
- The Crocodile represents the Northern Territory and our players who have direct connection with the land and water ways.
- The Eagle represents the Gold Coast and is a totem to some of the Traditional custodians of the land.
- The footprints are the animal’s journey and tracks that are left behind when roaming the country.
- The Sun is the centre piece and foundation of the football club’s journey. It represents the meeting place for everyone, it embraces people from all cultures and backgrounds. Connects everyone together. The sun design is consistent across our past 4 indigenous guernseys, run out tees and artwork.
